office

A grand day.

The weather today has been wonderful. A really good English early spring day.

Gardening is something I loathe. Anything that involves getting dirty is a complete none starter as far as I'm concerned. However, yesterday Jane bought 3 new bushes to go in the front garden. I was volunteered to dig the holes, which was a fair deal as Jane hasn't been too well recently. Ten minutes work, at the most, and then I could get back to other things. When I got to the garden Jane announced that she had another job for me. Some of the bushes in the back needed trimming and as some of the branches were quite thick I had to cut them. This little exercise lasted nearly three hours!

I suppose it was worth it and, if I'm honest, I quite enjoyed doing it (but don't tell Jane...)
