Traditionally, here at work, the last week before Christmas is 'gourmet week'. This started last time I worked here, in 1992. The idea then was to cook or prepare something edible and bring it in for everyone to share. Over the years it's morphed into a heads down, no nonsense food fest. Today, we have a large selection of cheeses, chocolates, truffles, fruit, olives, faerie cakes and biscuits. I'm having a good time.
